This provides a no-compromise hearing solution for your patients.
- Intelligently balances speech clarity in noise and listening comfort1
- Superior sound quality for streaming media*2
- Preserves naturalness of own voice perception while improving hearing performance1*
- Compatible with all Phonak Audéo™ Lumity and Audéo™ Paradise rechargeable hearing aids
How does the ActiveVent Receiver work?
ActiveVent is a receiver that incorporates a built-in vent in combination with a mechanical element — a small disc that moves between two positions: an open and a closed position. A reassuring click signals to the patient that the disc has changed its position.
When the disc is in the open position, direct sound is able to pass through the receiver’s built-in vent and thus provides the comfort of an open fit, naturalness of own-voice and awareness of environmental sounds.
In challenging listening situations with speech in loud noise, or when streaming, the disc moves to a closed position, blocking out environmental sound directly entering the ear, thus increasing focus of speech in front and streaming content.
All of this is automatically controlled by AutoSense OS 5.0.
